E 105th Phase II Reconstruction

Location: E 105th Street north of Greenlawn Ave

Alert in effect: Monday, February 22 - Tuesday, February 22, 2022

On Feb. 22, 2021, the City of Cleveland's Division of Engineering and Construction will begin construction on Phase II of the E. 105th Street Rehabilitation Project. Phase II of the East 105th Street Rehabilitation Project limits are approximately one mile from Greenlawn Avenue north to the City's border.

Phase II reconstruction will occur in two parts:

The first part is the sewer construction. This will include replacement of the sewer from St. Clair Avenue to Remington Avenue. Northbound and southbound traffic will be maintained on E. 105 with one lane in either direction. Traffic south of St. Clair Avenue will not be impacted. Access to all businesses and homes along the street will be maintained. The sewer construction phase is estimated to be done in May 2021.

The second part, to begin in May 2021, is the water main construction and roadway work from Greenlawn Avenue north to the City's border. Northbound and southbound traffic will be maintained on E. 105 with one lane in either direction throughout the construction zone. The improvements include pavement repairs, drainage, asphalt resurfacing, and installation of ADA compliant ramps, curb and sidewalk repairs as needed, driveway aprons as needed, new pavement markings, traffic and pedestrian crossing signal upgrades, water main replacement, and sewer replacement. The work will take place during daytime hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The project is scheduled for completion in February 2022.
