I-490 Closure - Updated January 2021

Location: Between I-77 and E 55th Street

Alert in effect: Wednesday, May 29 - Monday, November 1, 2021

Due to construction work associated with the Ohio Department of Transportation's (ODOT) Opportunity Corridor project, I-490 between I-77 and E 55th will be closed starting May 29, 2019 through November 1, 2021. Suggested detour routes are provided in ODOT's press release.

Originally, the Opportunity Corridor project was anticipated to be substantially open to traffic starting in May 2021, but the project timeline was extended to November 2021. More details about ODOT's project extension are available here.
