Starting Monday, May 14th, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is starting the US-322 resurfacing project which includes parts of Mayfield Road and Chester Avenue.

The Mayfield segment of resurfacing is between E 126th Street and Euclid Avenue. Traffic will be down to one lane westbound throughout the duration of the project. Eastbound traffic will be detoured from Euclid to Superior to Mayfield. Access to side streets, sidewalks (except on the north side of Mayfield adjacent to Centric), and driveways will be maintained throughout the project. There will be no on-street parking on Mayfield Road for the duration of the project. Regular work hours are Monday-Friday between 7am and 4pm, and the contractor has the option to work night hours when needed with permission from the City of Cleveland. The expected duration of the Mayfield section of the project is May 14th through the end of June 2018.

The Chester segment of resurfacing is between E. 93rd St. and Euclid Ave. Traffic will be maintained with one lane in both directions, with lanes first shifted to the north side of the roadway for work to take place on the southern half of the road.
