Shared Bikes & Scooters

The City of Cleveland permits private companies to operate shared, dockless e-scooters, and e-bikes. Ride costs vary by company, but users typically pay $1 to start and then $0.15 to $0.31 per minute. Using a shared e-scooter or e-bike requires an account with the respective company. Shared e-scooters and e-bikes are typically unlocked using your smartphone's camera and the QR code located on the device, although each company has a process in place for non-smartphone users to unlock devices. Use the live map in the respective scooter company's app to locate nearby scooters. There are incentives to users who end their ride in the designated parking areas, visible in the apps.

Shared e-scooters are available from 3:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. daily and can travel to a max speed of 15 mph.

Shared e-bikes are available 24 hours a day and can travel to a max speed of 20 mph.
