Shared Bikes & Scooters

The City of Cleveland permits private companies to operate shared, dockless e-scooters and e-bikes. The pricing depends on the company, but users typically pay $1 to start and then $0.15 to $0.39 per minute to ride. Using a shared e-scooter or e-bike requires an account with the respective company. Devices are unlocked using your smartphone's camera and the QR code located on the device. Use the live map in the respective scooter company's app to locate nearby scooters. There are incentives to users who end their ride in the designated parking areas, visible in the apps.

Shared e-scooters are available from 5:00am until 11:00pm daily are can travel to a max speed of 15 mph.

Shared e-bikes are available 24/7 and can travel to a max speed of 20 mph.

Always wear a helmet while riding a shared e-scooter or e-bike.

Happy New Year from uGO! Let’s talk about transportation and New Year’s Resolutions. What's the most common New Year's Resolution? You guessed it - to exercise more and lose weight. Purchasing a new gym membership and establishing a workout routine are common next steps to accomplish this goal, but what if we told you that your commute can also play a role? Studies have shown that people who use transit take 30% more steps per day on average than people who drive, and nearly a third of transit users are physically active for 30 minutes or more each day just from walking to and from their pickup location. Similarly, studies show that the average person loses 13 lbs. in the first year of commuting by bike! Interested in changing up your commute for 2024? Check out our Transit and Biking pages on uGOinthecircle.com for information to help you get started!
